2016: Ukraine reduced export of chocolate by 14%



Ukrainian producers reduced exports of chocolate and cacao-containing products in 2016 by 14% comparing to 2015 and by 39% - comparing to 2014 to 58.5 thousand tons.

This was reported by the Analytical Department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB), referring to the original data of the State Fiscal Service.

In value terms, exports fell from $ 158.9 million. in 2015 and $ 289.4 million in 2014 up to $ 134.3 million. in 2016.

Leaders among buyers of Ukrainian chocolate and chocolate products were Kazakhstan ($ 23.6 million., or 17.6%), Belarus and Georgia, with a volume of $ 11.3 million., or 8.4% both.
