UFEB takes part in the knowledge exchange mission to Taiwan
Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) takes part in knowledge exchange and business-matching with Taiwan in the meat processing sector. The trip was initiated by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and runs from June 18 to 25.
Ukrainian delegation, consisting of representatives of leading scientific institutions, business and industry associations, will visit the Chung Hsing and Ilan universities, the Taipei International Food Processing & Pharmaceutical Machinery exhibition, the Center of Agricultural and Aquacultural Production Inspection and Certification, the capacities of local farms and meat processing companies.
"This trip will allow us not only to exchange experiences with manufacturers and processors of meat products of Taiwan, but also to get promising business contacts for our members. In particular, this gives us an opportunity to realize the potential obtained by opening the Chinese market for Ukrainian beef," UFEB director Bogdan Shapoval said.
