Over the past period, Ukraine has demonstrated a decrease in export of dairy products, while butter is the only product which export rate demonstrates a positive trend (+16.2% in January-August of 2018), the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reports.

According to the State Customs Service, the total exports of butter from Ukraine in January-May of 2018 amounted to 14.792 thousand tons. 

The export of dairy products from Ukraine in July 2017 in monetary terms amounted to 23.6 million dollars, which is 5 times more than in July last year.

In January-July 2017, Ukrainian dairy producers increased the exports revenue by 69.3% comparing with in the same period last year. According to the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB), citing data from the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the volume of revenue from dairy products exports amounted to $ 140.8 million.

In January-June 2017, exports of dairy products from Ukraine amounted to 117.2 million dollars, which is 76.6% more than in the same period last year. According to the Analytical Department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB), the basis for exports in monetary terms in the reporting period were condensed milk and cream (35%, or 40.4 mln dollars) and butter (38%, or 44.8 mln dollars)...…

The export of butter and milk fat from Ukraine will continue to grow while a stable demand for this product maintains in the world, an analyst of the dairy market of the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) Anna Burka said.

In January-March 2017, the export of dairy products from Ukraine amounted to 25.7 thousand tons, which is 37% more than in the first quarter of 2016, the analytical department of the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reported.

Exports of dairy products from Ukraine in 2016 amounted to 109.2 ths tons, which is 9% less than in 2015 and 3% less than in 2014. In value terms, exports of this commodity group decreased by 11% compared to 2015 and 2 times in comparison with the year 2014, amounting to about $ 158 million.
