“According to the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, during the period from January to September of 2018, Ukraine exported food products and goods of agrarian industry amounting to 11.4 billion USD,” the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reports.

Over the past period, Ukraine has demonstrated a decrease in export of dairy products, while butter is the only product which export rate demonstrates a positive trend (+16.2% in January-August of 2018), the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reports.

“The main buyers of Ukrainian chocolate during eight months of this year were the USA (13.67% of the total exports), Kazakhstan (12.33%), Belarus (9.04%), the part of other countries amounted to 64.95%,” the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reports. Experts note that during January-August of 2018 the total exports of chocolate products amounted to 101 million USD.

Exports of melons, watermelons decreased by 28% in January-July of 2018 compared to the same period of the last year (7 thousand tons in 2018 against 9.7 thousand tons in 2017), the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board informs.

Exports of chicken increased by 8.2% (to 184.6 thousand tons) during seven months of 2018 compared to the same period of 2017 (169.5 thousand tons), the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board reports, referring to the data of the State Customs Service.

According to the State Customs Service, the total exports of butter from Ukraine in January-May of 2018 amounted to 14.792 thousand tons. 

According to the State Customs Service, Ukraine exported 0.283 thousand tons of charcuterie in 2017. “The exports of this segment of products during the first five months of this year (0.176 thousand tons) exceeded the last year's index by 1,9 times (0,089 thousand tons), the May exports amounted to 0.059 thousand tons” – the analyst of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) informs.

In January-July 2017, Ukrainian exporters raised $ 299.17 million from meat sales (beef, pork and poultry) abroad, which is 1.5 times more than a year ago, the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reported.

The export of dairy products from Ukraine in July 2017 in monetary terms amounted to 23.6 million dollars, which is 5 times more than in July last year.

In January-July 2017, Ukrainian dairy producers increased the exports revenue by 69.3% comparing with in the same period last year. According to the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB), citing data from the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the volume of revenue from dairy products exports amounted to $ 140.8 million.
