The Analytical Department of Ukrainian Food Export Board has prepared an overview of imports of fresh, chilled and frozen fish in January-February 2019.
“According to the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, during the period from January to September of 2018, Ukraine exported food products and goods of agrarian industry amounting to 11.4 billion USD,” the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reports.
Exports of melons, watermelons decreased by 28% in January-July of 2018 compared to the same period of the last year (7 thousand tons in 2018 against 9.7 thousand tons in 2017), the analytical department of Ukrainian Food Export Board informs.
In 2016, Ukrainian gardeners increased the export of stone fruits (apricots, cherries, plums, peaches and thorns) in comparison with 2015 by 2.1 times - to 1.88 thousand tons. In terms of value, exports increased by 59% and amounted to 870.6 thousand dollars, the analytical department of the Ukrainian Food Export Board (UFEB) reported.
In 2016, Ukrainian producers of fish and other aquatic biological resources increased export by 39% compared to 2015 – up to $ 21.8 million from $ 15.7 million, according to the Ukrainian Food Export Board Analytical Department (UFEB) .
